The 2012 Playback Canadian Film & TV Hall of Fame took place Sept. 21 at the Glenn Gould Studios at the CBC.

The two-hour event, a celebration of veteran and up-and-coming talent, revealed a strong showing of entertainment professionals from across the country and an overarching message that the Canadian industry is strong, and will continue to grow as a global player, fostered by the talent and expertise that was there in the room and beyond its walls.
