DHX Media has secured 10 new broadcast deals for its rebooted Teletubbies series. The preschool show was picked up by BBC Worldwide for its international CBeebies channels in Africa, Asia and Poland, TVE (Spain) for its Clan channel, Hop! Media (Israel), NPO Zappelin (Netherlands), MTVA (Hungary) for its channel M2, JimJam (Benelux), SIC (Portugal), e-Junior (the Middle East) and Ultra (Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Macedonia). The series was previously acquired by ABC Kids in Autralia, Gulli in France, and Nickelodeon in the U.S., Rai YoYo (Italy) and Family Junior in Canada.
Arcana Studios
Vancouver’s Arcana Studio and Shout! Factory have extended their distribution deal for Arcana’s Howard Lovecraft trilogy, with the U.S.-based outfit signing on to also distribute the second and third installments of the three-pic set. Read more here.
