Stingray
Music provider Stingray Digital Group has reached an agreement to acquire Swiss-based live music channel iConcerts. The channel is currently distributed to more than 100 Pay-TV and OTT operators in 85 countries and is available to approximately 250 million households globally. The acquisition is expected to add about $5 million in annual revenues for Stingray, the company said in a release.
In other Stingray news this week, the Montreal-based company inked a deal to acquire Australian digital music services provider Digital Music Distribution Pty. Ltd. Read more about the deal here. Stingray has been busy since the summer of 2015, acquiring three Brava Group TV music channels in June, and later inking a strategic partnership with Singapore’s Multi Channels Asia.
Attraction Distribution
Montreal-based Attraction Distribution has taken the international sales rights to Dave Schultz’s upcoming feature Considering Love and Other Magic. Read more about the deal here.

Entertainment One (eOne) has joined a raft of Hollywood heavy hitters, including DreamWorks Studios, Participant Media and Reliance Group, to launch Amblin Partners, a new film, television and digital content creation company. Read more about the deal here.
DHX Media
DHX Media and California-based toy co Mattel have inked a deal that will see the companies jointly fund, co-develop and coproduce multiplatform content based on four Mattel properties: Bob the Builder, Fireman Sam, Little People and Polly Pocket. Under the deal, DHX Distribution will manage global sales for both existing and new content related to the four properties. Read more about the deal here.
