Vancouver-based production company Partners in Motion and marblemedia’s Distribution360 (D360) have inked a deal that will see the companies jointly develop a slate of factual content.
In addition, Partners in Motion has made D360 the global distributor of its entire catalogue of shows, which includes doc series Crime Stories and Edge of War.
D360 last month announced a number of sales and acquisitions, with The Mystery Files (Apartment 11 productions) Snapshots (Forte Entertainment) and Confucius Was a Foodie (Mark Media) among the additions to its catalogue. The company also sold a number of its properties, including Yaya & Zouk (ToonDraw Productions) and Leave it to Bryan (Si Entertainment).
The announcement comes amidst a busy summer for marblemedia, after the company hired Donna MacNeil as VP of marketing and strategic development, as well as promoting Carrie Paupst Shaughnessy to the newly created role of VP, scripted. The company also announced last month that it was in development with Vancouver’s Omnifilm Entertainment on a remake of ’90s TV series The Odyssey.
