The Toronto Film Critics Association held its 23rd annual gala at Toronto’s Omni King Edward Hotel, hosting critics and the who’s who of the Canadian film and TV industry on Jan. 9.
The evening saw co-writers and directors Elle-Máijá Tailfeathers and Kathleen Hepburn walk away with the coveted $100,000 Rogers Best Canadian Film Award for The Body Remembers When the World Broke Open, while Deragh Campbell was awarded the $10,000 Stella Artois Jay Scott Prize.
