Bron Studios has revealed a raft of hires and promotions across its executive teams in B.C. and L.A.
In Vancouver, the company has tapped Priscila Costa Lima (pictured) as SVP, corporate finance, while Andria Spring has been promoted to the role of SVP, post-production.
Costa Lima, who is the former director of finance at unscripted prodco Force Four, will provide strategic financial input to senior management across Bron’s various divisions, while Spring will oversee completion and delivery on a variety of the company’s media properties.
Bron also made a number of additions to its L.A. operations, with Amanda Archibald joining as VP, marketing and publicity and Neil Shah hired to the role of VP, strategic analysis. As well, Jordan Moldo and Solome Williams have joined the L.A. team as creative executives.
The hires come at a time when Bron is scaling up its operations, with the company also moving into a new office in Beverly Hills.
Last year, after more than six years in the feature-film business, Bron made a move into television, partnering with former HBO programming exec Michael Ellenberg to launch a new production entity, Media Res. Bron and Media Res have since begun working on a TV adaptation of David Cronenberg’s 1981 film Scanners.
On the film front, Bron most recently went into production on the gangster thriller Fonzo, starring Tom Hardy, Matt Dillon, Kyle MacLachlan and Kathrine Narducci. The project is produced by Bron and L.A.-based prodcos Addictive Pictures and A Band Apart.
