Sci-fi drama Plan B acquired in format deal

German prodco Pantaleon Films picked up the remake rights to the series from Montreal's KOTV.

plan bMunich, Germany-based prodco Pantaleon Films has acquired the format rights to the French-language sci-fi drama Plan B, produced by Montreal’s KOTV.

German distributor Aroma TV, which represents KOTV projects in international markets, sold the local remake rights to Pantaleon.

Plan B tells the story of a man who, after the death of the love of his life, discovers a company that can send humans back in time. Season one of the show aired on Series + and season two has been greenlit by CBC/Radio-Canada (in Quebec) for season two.

The hour-long Quebec original is directed by Jean-François Asselin and produced by Alain Chicoine, Louis-Philippe Drolet and Louis Morissette. Plan B stars  Louis Morissette, Magalie Lépine Blondeau, Émile Proulx-Cloutier.
