The Real Housewives of Vancouver brought in the largest audience ever for a series premiere on Slice last Thursday at 10 p.m.
The premiere episode of the first Canadian version of the Real Housewives series, produced by Vancouver-based Lark Productions, saw 1.2 million total viewers, according to BBM Canada numbers provided by Shaw Media.
The show’s audience included 109,000 viewers between the ages of 25 and 54.
Promotion for the launch of the show kicked off last Wednesday as well, with a five-week cross-platform campaign announcing the arrival of the Vancouver housewives in Canada.
The Real Housewives of Vancouver airs Wednesday nights at 10 p.m. with encore presentations on Friday at 9 p.m. on Slice.
