Corus Entertainment has announced its 2025-26 programming slate, showcasing a diverse lineup of new acquisitions and returning series across its flagship network Global, as well as specialty networks like Showcase, W Network and more.
Showcase
For Showcase, the slate includes a number of series acquired via its exclusive long-term partnership with NBCUniversal. For Showcase, this includes The Office spinoff The Paper (pictured top left), Peacock’s science fiction spy thriller series The Copenhagen Test, starring Canadian actor Simu Liu, the spy thriller Ponies and the Sky limited series Amadeus.
Seth MacFarlane’s Ted is set to return to the network for a second season, joined by a new spinoff with the working title Ted: The Animated Series. The reimagined Bel-Air also returns for season four.
Global
On Global, the acquisitions include the single-camera workplace comedy DMV; Sheriff Country, a spinoff of the drama series Fire Country; one-hour crime drama CIA; and the singing competition series The Road from Taylor Sheridan and Keith Urban.
Global’s mid-season premieres include a Yellowstone spinoff with the working title Y: Marshalls; cooking competition series America’s Culinary Cup; and one-hour true-crime series Harlan Coben’s Final Twist.
The W Network
The W Network will feature Peacock series such as the suburban thriller All Her Fault and the dark comedy The ‘Burbs. Outlander will also return for its eighth and final season.
The Way Home (Neshama Entertainment, Fox Entertainment Studios) will return for season four alongside Mistletoe Murders (Headspinner Productions, Lionsgate Canada) via the W Network’s Hallmark Channel partnership. Both series were renewed by Hallmark in March.
Other Hallmark additions include Celebrations with Lacey Chabert (pictured bottom right), the four-part unscripted series Christmas at Sea and the second season of the festive reality competition series Finding Mr. Christmas.
Home and Flavour Network
Previously announced during the initial Home Network launch is Building Baeumler with Bryan and Sarah Baeumler, Rentovation with Natalie Chong, Life is Messy from Scott Brothers Entertainment and Beer Budget Reno with Kristen Coutts.
House of Ali and Rock Solid Builds (pictured bottom right) are also returning for new seasons.
Top Chef Canada (Insight Productions, pictured top right) is set to return to the Flavour Network for season 12, alongside the previously announced debuts of the 7 x 60-minute Halloween Bakeshop and Holiday Bakeshop (Nikki Ray Media Agency), hosted by Lauren Ash.
Both Morimoto’s Sushi Master and Adam Richman Eats Britain will return for their second seasons, alongside season four of Andrew Zimmern’s Wild Game Kitchen and season nine of Kitchen Nightmares.
History and National Geographic
On the History Channel, Curse of Oak Island and Secrets of Skinwalker Ranch return for seasons 13 and six respectively. The channel’s lineup also includes WWII with Tom Hanks, History’s Deadliest with Ving Rhames and Hazardous History with Henry Winkler.
New to National Geographic is Underdogs, narrated by Ryan Reynolds, which examines the outcasts of the animal kingdom.
Slice
Slice’s lineup is led by the six-part docuseries Tiffany Haddish Goes Off, as well as new series Two Sisters: Missing, Murdered, Betrayed, The Gilgo Beach Killer: House of Secrets and The Idaho Student Murders.
As well, The Challenge, Below Deck Down Under, Married to Medicine, Southern Hospitality are set to return with new seasons.
Adult animated and children’s networks
On Adult Swim, a new Regular Show series will be joining the network alongside the The Robot Chicken Self-Discovery Special and season three of Smiling Friends.
Corus’ children’s network lineup includes The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball and a new season of Teen Titans GO! on YTV. Lastly, Treehouse will welcome Thomas & Friends: Sodor Sings Together as well as Spin Master Entertainment’s Vida the Vet season two and Rubble & Crew season four.
