In a testament to Murdoch Mysteries‘ fervent fanbase, hundreds of fans turned out to CBC headquarters on Monday for a live screening of the series’ 100th episode.
A huge line of Murdoch Mysteries fans – some even decked out in costume – could be seen snaking around the block near the CBC headquarters on Monday evening in anticipation of the screening, which was held in the Ceeb’s Barbara Frum Atrium.
According to the pubcaster, about 700 people attended the event, which was promoted to fans via social media. The evening also featured a panel discussion with the cast and crew behind Murdoch Mysteries, including Christina Jennings, chairman and CEO of Murdoch producer Shaftesbury, showrunner Peter Mitchell and series star Yannick Bisson.
