CTVglobemedia has hired John R. Gossling as its new CFO. Gossling, who most recently served as VP of financial operations for Rogers Communications, starts April 7, taking over the post that will be left vacant when Robin Fillingham retires.

Fillingham is stepping down after 37 years with the company. but will act as a consultant to Gossling while the transition is made.

Gossling brings over 22 years industry experience to the post. He was also SVP and CFO of Rogers Wireless Communications between 2000 and 2005.
