Terminator 2 actor Robert Patrick has joined the cast of Bruce McDonald’s Hellions, from Whizbang Films and Storyteller Pictures.

Patrick, who more recently had roles in True Blood and Gangster Squad, joins previously announced stars Chloe Rose, Rossif Sutherland, Rachel Wilson and Luke Bilyk.

“Robert brings an incredible pedigree to this project – not only is he an amazing actor, he is also iconic,” producer Frank Siracusa said in a statement.

Hellions stars Rose as a pregnant teen who must survive a Halloween night from hell when three trick-or-treaters come knocking at her door.

The film is written by Pascal Trottier, with McDonald directing and Siracusa of Whizbang and Paul Lenart of Storyteller producing.  The film is produced with participation of Telefilm Canada, in association with The Movie Network and Movie Central.

Hellions is currently in production in Toronto. The film, which is being shot almost entirely in digital infrared, will continue shooting through the end of November.
