Shaw Media’s Big Brother Canada has secured two U.S.-based Social TV Award nominations.

And the CBC’s Over the Rainbow series also received a nod in the best reality show category.

The Over the Rainbow digital extension is produced by Konrad Group and Social Game Universe. The TV program is produced by Toronto’s Temple Street Productions.

The Big Brother Canada website, produced by Secret Location, will challenge in the best TV show specific and best TV everywhere competitions.

Big Brother Canada is produced by Insight Productions.

The Social TV Awards will be handed out on July 16 in Los Angeles.
