Discovery Canada has renewed Junk Raiders and Canada’s Worst Driver  from indie producer Proper Television for new seasons.

Junk Raiders received a six-episode third season order, and Canada’s Worst Driver (hosted by Andrew Younghusband,  pictured) received an eight-episode order for an eighth season based on the British format.

“Canada’s Worst Driver and Junk Raiders both have one thing in common. They are big noisy shows that are high on entertainment value,” said Proper Television president, Guy O’Sullivan, in a statement.

Proper is also behind the CBC’s Redemption Inc., hosted by Dragon’s Den judge Kevin O’Leary, and the recently in-production Secret Life of… for Shaw’s History Television.
