A new music channel is hoping to attract Canadian pre-teen viewers with round-the-clock pop video programming.
On Thursday (Nov. 17), Bell Media launched Juicebox, a commercial-free network that will air non-stop videos by PG-rated pop acts such as Justin Bieber, Cody Simpson, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato (pictured).
“We have created a dedicated destination for kids who love music, a destination that parents can feel good about,” said Neil Staite, Bell Media’s VP and GM, Music & Entertainment, said in a statement.
The channel is available on 30 carriers across the country, including Bell TV and Rogers. CTV will also cross-promote the network on Saturday mornings in a tw0-hour “snackable” form starting at 6am on Nov. 26.
