Vancouver-based Tyson Media has secured a deal with Switzerland-headquartered International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (IBSF) for the rights to film footage at all its competitions and events throughout the 2025/26 season.
Tyson Media will be working as an independent production entity with the ability to purchase broadcasting footage from IBSF while filming alongside the federation at competition sites.
“Our company has been given an incredible opportunity to document and ‘pull the curtain back’ on this sport and bring more exposure to the athletes as they prepare in the months and weeks leading up to 2026,” said Tyson Media president Tyson Hepburn in a statement, adding that discussions are underway with undisclosed streamers and broadcast partners.
Tyson Media previously completed a three-part docuseries, Redemption Run, which covered the Canadian bobsled teams through the 2024 to 2025 seasons and the challenges they faced at the North American Cup, World Cup and World Championships as they prepare for the 2026 Olympic Games.
Hepburn told Playback Daily that preliminary plans are afoot to extend the docuseries and the partnership with IBSF throughout the Olympic season, depending on market demand.
