Production is underway on the new Bell Media docuseries My Pet Ate What? from Vancouver-based prodco Tyson Media.

Principal photography on the series, first announced as part of Bell’s 2024-25 slate, began in late March and wraps in late July. The series is set to be delivered in January 2025, according to a news release. Filming is taking place in the Greater Vancouver area, Fraser Valley, Vancouver Island and Okanagan.

The series is directed by Andrew Vacheresse and created by Ben Gorodetsky. Nicole Tomlinson is the producer. Gorodetsky also serves as executive producer alongside Tyson Hepburn and Kelly McClughan.

My Pet Ate What? follows the work of Dr. Eugene Gorodetsky, an expert in veterinary care “who uses a minimally invasive instrument that combines a camera, light, and grasping tools to reach down animals’ digestive tracts and recover wild, surprising, and dangerous items they’ve ingested.”

Filming will take place across 50 clinics in British Columbia.

Tyson’s roster of original Canadian series includes Pets and Pickers, which will be making its third season debut on July 14 on Animal Planet. The first and second seasons are available on Discovery and Crave.
