In an effort to provide new producers with key information on producing programming for the changing television marketplace The Producer’s Workshop Series is presenting ‘How To Create and Produce Your Own TV Show’ Saturday, Jan. 31 in Toronto.

Special guests Steve and Dave Smith, producers of The New Red Green Show and Go Girl! will take one idea through the entire production process, from conception to distribution, paying special attention to choosing the right venue for an idea, why some pitches work while others fail, etiquette at the networks, organizing a production team, basic budgeting issues, legal and licensing considerations, deals, distribution and marketing.
