Toronto-based media producer, distributor and content channel Blue Ant Media will send its lifestyle specialty channel Makeful HD to Asia through Singaporean pay-TV company StarHub TV.

Makeful will be the fourth international channel from the Blue Ant slate carried by StarHub TV.

The channel features celebrity-led home improvement shows, along with Makeful original programming featuring design, décor, style, crafts and DIY ideas.

Makeful is partnering with local makers to inspire viewers in the region, where the “maker pedagogy” has been incorporated into the school curriculum since 2016, leading to a demand for creative programming.

Local partners include furniture upcycling and repurposing enthusiasts Hock Siong & Co.; paper and mixed media craft maker Aida Haron; art and lifestyle brand Love Limzy Co.; bespoke, upcycled, and handmade furniture maker Triple Eyelid Studio; and food artist Little Miss Bento (pictured).

Makeful HD will be available on StarHub TV Channel 436, with a free four-week preview of the channel available starting at launch.
