The boards came in courtesy of Highwood Communications, with Steve Williams the creative director and Trent Burton handling copywriting duties. Jacqueline Burgmann produced for Highwood.
Don MacDonnell posted the ad at JMB Post Production.
Industry Films director Jeremy Lynch shot what amounts to more of a short film than an ad for the Advertising & Design Club of Canada. ‘The Making of An Award’ spot, which first screened Nov. 9 at this year’s adcc awards show, runs 3.5 minutes and was shot over a night in Toronto. Adam Marsden was the dop, with Tina Petridis executive producing for Industry.
The creative team at Ammirati Puris consisted of art director Gary Westgate, copywriter Hayes Steinberg and creative director Doug Robinson. Beatrice Bodogh produced for the agency.
Leo Zaharatos at Blue Highway edited and Walt Biljan at Command Post/toybox served as colorist. Chris Tait at Pirate Radio handled sound design.
An interesting side note: the film stars Peter Petridis (father of Industry producer Tina) and the uncanny regurgitating skills of Bensimon Byrne D’Arcy’s Nathan Monteith. *
