Alibi Entertainment hires former Shaw exec Nick Crowe

The former director of original factual content at Shaw Media joins Alibi Entertainment as executive producer.

small nick crowe headshotNick Crowe has joined Toronto-based production company Alibi Entertainment as executive producer.

In his new position at the company, Crowe will be responsible for overseeing the development and production of factual content for both television and digital platforms. He will be based in Alibi’s head office in Toronto and will start his new job on July 13.

Prior to joining Alibi Entertainment, Crowe was the director of original factual content at Shaw Media and worked on series across a number of the broadcaster’s brands, including History, Slice, National Geographic Channel and Global. Before his time at Shaw, Crowe held positions at Alliance Atlantis and Canwest Broadcasting as a production executive and program manager with History. His recent credits include Dino Hunt, Dieppe Uncovered, Ice Road Truckers and Mummies Alive.

Alibi Entertainment is currently producing a broadcast special for Food Network Canada as a complement to its interactive website Great Canadian Cookbook. Other projects in Alibi’s portfolio include Carnival Eats, Last Flight to Berlin, Outlaw Bikers and Hunting Somali Pirates.
