Blue Ant Studios has several Canadian series and documentaries among more than 40 projects in its slate at this year’s London TV Screenings.
The fifth edition of the U.K. distribution industry event will run from Feb. 23 to 28.
The Canadian projects in Blue Ant Studios’ factual entertainment and formats category include the second season of Northwoods Survival (8 x 60 minutes, Blue Ant Studios; pictured) and Engineering From Above (8 x 60 minutes).
Blue Ant is bringing lifestyle series Todd Talbot Builds: The Passive House Project (8 x 30 minutes; Infinity Films) as well as the paranormal series You Can’t Deny It (6 x 60 minutes, Blue Ant Studios), the second season of Ghosting with Luke Hutchie and Matthew Finlan (8 x 30 minutes, Blue Ant Studios, Luke Hutchie Productions) and the 60-minute documentary Ghost Lands (Familiar Films). Another project that will be heading to London is Toronto-based Cave 7 Productions’ 120-minute documentary The Spoils.
Blue Ant is bringing two nature and wildlife-focused series from Netherlands, U.K. and Toronto-based Off the Fence, Snow Leopards With Dan O’Neill (2 x 60 minutes) and Secrets of the Enchanted Waters (6 x 60 minutes). Dances with Cranes, the 60-minute nature documentary from Nova Scotia-based Sea to Sea Productions, is also among Blue Ant’s selections.
For kids and family, the slate includes the second seasons of Old Enough (7 x 30 minutes, Blue Ant Studios) and Green Squad (13 x 15 minutes, Apartment 11).
Blue Ant will also be bringing a number of returning series including Bollywed (28 x 30 minutes; HeartHat Entertainment), My Haunted Hometown (16 x 60 minutes, Blue Ant Studios), Holmes on Homes: Building a Legacy (14 x 60 minutes, The Holmes Group), Wild Rose Vets (26 x 30 minutes, Wapanatahk Media, Thunderbird Entertainment), Flat Out Food (31 x 30 minutes, HalterMedia), Lakefront Luxury (18 x 30 minutes, Nikki Ray Media Agency) and Staying Wild (18 x 30 minutes, Little Ox Film Company, Overtime Studios and 3 Story Pictures).
