Canada’s Drag Race will slay another day as Crave confirms the series has been renewed for a sixth season.
The streamer announced the renewal on Thursday (Oct. 31) as part of a casting announcement for a new team of competing drag queens.
The Canadian spinoff of RuPaul’s Drag Race is produced by Blue Ant Studios in association with Crave and L.A.-based Drag Race owners World of Wonder.
The renewal comes ahead of the season five premiere, slated for Nov. 21. Since its debut in 2020, the series has seen the creation of spinoffs such as Canada’s Drag Race: Canada Vs. The World and the winter-themed six-part series Slaycation.
Executive producers for Canada’s Drag Race are Matthew Hornburg, Mark Bishop, Donna Luke and Laura Michalchyshyn for Blue Ant Studios; showrunner Trevor Boris; World of Wonder’s Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato, Tom Campbell and RuPaul Charles; and Bell Media’s Justin Stockman.
