Hot Sheet: Stranger Things continues to dominate overall TV demand in Canada

Amazon Studios’ The Boys rises on both the digital originals and overall TV charts for the week of June 6 to 12.

Netflix original series Stranger Things has topped overall TV demand in Canada for the fourth straight week.

Starring Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard and Winona Ryder, the sci fi horror smash led both the top 10 digital originals and top 10 overall TV shows in Canada for the week of June 6 to 12. It was 109.95 times more in demand than the average TV series in Canada for that period, according to Parrot Analytics.

Meanwhile, Amazon Studios’ Toronto-shot The Boys (32.02) rose on both lists, moving from No. 6 on the previous week’s digital demand chart to No. 3 on both charts for this period.

In the overall TV series demand list, NBC’s Saturday Night Live (28.11) ranked at No. 4, and Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants (27.29) at No. 5.
