The 10 x 60-minute scripted drama series produced by Toronto’s Blue Ice will go to camera on Sept. 15, with cast members from hit Canadian series Schitt’s Creek and Wynonna Earp in tow.

Tim Rozon (Wynonna Earp, Vagrant Queen; pictured) will lead the series as a real estate agent who works with a team to purge ghosts from homes before selling them. He will star alongside Sarah Levy (Schitt’s Creek), Adam Korson (Seed), Maurice Dean Wint (The Kid Detective), Savannah Basley (Wynonna Earp) and Tennille Read (Workin’ Moms).

The Surrealtor was commissioned by U.S. network Syfy earlier this year, with a 10-episode straight-to-series order. Bell Media later came on board as the Canadian broadcaster for its CTV Sci-Fi channel.

The series was developed for television by George Olson, who serves as showrunner and executive producer. Additional executive producers are Blue Ice’s Lance Samuels, Daniel Iron and Armand Leo, and Danishka Esterhazy, who is also attached as a director.

This is Blue Ice Pictures’ second series with Syfy, whose Vagrant Queen premiered on the channel in March of this year and was cancelled after one season. The prodco has also produced made-for-TV movies for the channel, including Lake Placid: Legacy and the upcoming Letters to Satan Claus.
