U.S. pay TV network Investigation Discovery (ID) has ordered a sixth season of Arrow Media and Saloon Media’s See No Evil.
Coproduced by the London, U.K.-based prodco and Blue Ant Media-owned Saloon, the hour-long series combines real-life CCTV footage with dramatic reconstructions and first-hand testimony to examine how police solve crimes.
Season five – which was announced alongside a raft of new series from Blue Ant Media in January – ran for 16 episodes. This upcoming season will see the show return for 20 episodes, with Arrow Media’s Ash Potterton serving as an executive producer. In addition to Investigation Discovery, See No Evil also airs on Blue Ant’s T+E in Canada and is represented by Blue Ant’s distribution arm, Blue Ant International.
Other recently greenlit Saloon projects include Hotel Paranormal (8 x 60 minutes), season two of The Weather Files (8 x 60 minutes), Life Below Zero: Canada (8 x 60 minutes) and The Witches of Salem (4 x 60 minutes).
Additionally, last month saw former Shaw Media executive Nick Crowe join Saloon as a production executive. In his new position, Crowe is tasked with developing new factual entertainment series and specials for the global market.
