Bell Media has rolled out the fall premiere schedule for CTV.
Leading off the new shows is Star Trek: Discovery, which debuts on Sunday Sept. 24 at 8:30 p.m. on CTV and Space. Episode two will follow immediately afterwards exclusively on Space.
The new season of The Big Bang Theory will bow on Monday Sept. 25 at 8 p.m., followed by the first episode of series spinoff Young Sheldon at 8:30 p.m. Those shows will move to their Thursday night timeslots beginning Nov. 2.
New comedy Me, Myself & I, which stars Bobby Moynihan (Saturday Night Live) and John Larroquette (Night Court, The Practice), follows at 9:30 p.m.
The first episode of medical drama The Good Doctor, which was part of Bell Media’s “feel good” programming strategy for the new season, bows at 10 p.m. on the Sept. 25.
The first of two new Marvel shows, Marvel’s Inhumans, will begin with a two-hour premiere at 8 p.m. on Friday Sept. 29. Its first episode, which stars Canadian Serinda Swan (Ballers), will feature exclusive content on the network TV version following a special two-week IMAX big screen debut beginning on Sept. 1.
Second on the new Marvel slate, the family adventure The Gifted, bows on Monday Oct. 2 at 9 p.m. It’s based on the X-Men properties and stars Stephen Moyer (True Blood).
As previously announced, Canadian original series The Disappearance, a six-part family drama, bows on Oct. 1 at 9 p.m. It stars Peter Coyote (E.T.) and Aden Young (Rectify). Its immediately followed by new drama Ten Days in the Valley at 10 p.m. Executive produced by showrunner Tassie Cameron, the series chronicles the disappearance of a TV producer’s (Kyra Sedgwick) young daughter.
Premieres continue into October with new dramedy Kevin (Probably) Saves the World on Tuesday Oct. 3 at 10 p.m.
Political comedy The Mayor, starring Lea Michele and Brandon Michael Hall, begins Saturday Oct. 7 at 8:30 p.m.
However, before any of these new shows begin, CTV will broadcast The 69th Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday Sept. 17 at 8:30 p.m. The Late Show‘s Stephen Colbert is set to host this year’s event.
Also in advance of the fall premieres, eTalk will have a special one-hour special on Friday Sept. 15 at 8 p.m., CTV’s Big Fall Preview. The special will feature interviews with stars of the new shows along with sneak peeks.
