Blue Ant Media has secured international sales on four of its original series, including Brojects and What’s For Sale?
Three seasons of home reno series Brojects (39 x 30 minutes), produced by Toronto’s Farmhouse Productions, were picked up by Corus Entertainment’s CMT for Canada, while Discovery (Benelux) and Scripps Networks’ Great American Country channel (U.S.) acquired the first two seasons of the show. In the U.S., the series is called Lake Guys.
My Retreat, produced by Blue Ant and Whistlestop Productions, was also picked up by Canal Evasion (French Canada), FOX Networks Group España (Spain), Hola! TV (U.S.), Times Group (India), Rainbow TV (UAE).
FOX Networks Group España (Spain) also picked up three seasons of lifestyle series What’s For Sale? (39 x 30 minutes). Meanwhile, the spin-off series What’s For Sale With a View was picked up by Discovery Communications’ Destination America (U.S.), Discovery World HD (Latin America), Digicast (Italy) and Talit Communications (Israel).
Earlier this month, Blue Ant announced it was testing the waters in virtual reality with a series of six digital videos. Produced by Farmhouse Productions, the videos are an extension of Brojects: In the House and allow users to watch the content at different levels, including in 360-video mode on YouTube or in VR mode using a Google Cardboard-compatible viewer.
