The investigative team at Motive will be closing their last cases this spring, with Bell Media’s CTV announcing it will be ending the series after its fourth season.
The final season of Lark Productions and Foundation Features police procedural will bow on CTV on Tuesday, March 22 at 10 p.m. Production on season four wrapped Friday in Vancouver, and will include 13 one-hour episodes. The third season of Motive pulled in an average audience of 1.2 million viewers, representing a 15% increase over the first season, Bell Media said in a release.
Motive is produced by Lark Production and Foundation Features in associate with Bell Media. Executive producers on Motive are Dennis Heaton, who also served as showrunner on season four. Other executive producers are series creator Daniel Cerone, Louise Clark, Rob Merilees, Erin Haskett, Lindsay Macadam and Ben Brafman. The series is distributed internationally by NBCUniversal International.
