How Hard Can It Be? Discovery wants to find out

Bell Media has ordered 10 episodes of the Proper Television series.

Bell Media’s Discovery announced Friday it has ordered 10, half-hour episodes of Andrew Younghubsand’s How Hard Can It Be, a docu-series starring the Canada’s Worst Driver host.

The additional episode order comes about a month after Discovery aired two, half-hour episodes of the series on Christmas Day. The content was also released as six shorts that were made available on the recently launched Discovery GO app.

How Hard Can It Be follows Younghubsand as he tries his hand at off-the-wall activities and dangerous jobs, such as demolition derby driving and competitive professional eating. The series will be the second Discovery Canada original production to be shot in 4K, the first being the period drama Frontier. Proper Rights is handling the international distribution of How Hard Can It Be.

Proper Television is also the producer attached to Canada’s Worst Driver, which is currently in preproduction on its 12th season. The series was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award in the category of Best Photography in a Lifestyle or Reality/Competition Program or Series.
