Trish Williams, Lesley Grant join Temple Street

Temple Street Productions has announced two new hires and a promotion, bringing in former Bell Media exec Trish Williams and former CBC development exec Lesley Grant in newly created positions, as well as promoting Laura Notarianni.

Williams – a co-executive producer on CTV’s Saving Hope and former director of drama in Bell Media’s Independent Production Unit – joins the Toronto producer as VP, scripted programming, and will be charged with furthering the growth of Temple Street’s scripted entertainment slate internationally, as well as overseeing Killjoys.

Grant has been appointed to the position of senior development producer, scripted programming, and will oversee Temple Street’s development projects, in addition to overseeing X Company. In her previous roles, Grant has served as drama production executive at CTV, where she was involved with Degrassi: The Next Generation, and as a drama development executive at CBC on shows such as Being Erica. She was also a factual production executive at Canwest Media for Slice Network.

Both new hires will report to SVP of scripted programming Kerry Appleyard, who has also promoted Laura Notarianni to the position of senior director, scripted programming.
