A roundup of the top-grossing Canadian and international films at the domestic box office in 2015.

As the year draws to a close, here are the top five highest-grossing films (both Canadian and international) at the Canadian box office. Data reflects box office numbers from Jan. 1, 2015 to Dec. 17, 2015 and is courtesy of MPTAC and Zoom Services.

Quebec films took the top five positions for the highest-grossing films at the Canadian box office in 2015. Le Mirage took the top spot, followed by the La Guerre des Tuques 3D, which motored into the #2 position after its release six weeks ago. Rounding out the top five are La passion d’Augustine at #3,  Paul à Québec at #4 and Ego Trip at #5.

Overall, nothing could match the roar of Jurassic World at the Canadian box office in 2015, as the franchise posted a $55 million domestic box office. On its heels was Avengers: Age of Ultron, Minions at #3, Furious 7 at #4 and Spectre at #5.
