Prime Video’s Reacher has risen in Canadian demand following its season three finale in late March.
The series, based on the novels from Lee Child, was 44.2 times more in demand than the average series in Canada during the week of March 24 to 30, according to Parrot Analytics, landing in the No. 3 spot on the digital originals chart. Reacher, which follows its titular wanderer Jack Reacher as he solves crimes and fights dangerous criminals, had its season three finale release on March 27.

The drop followed the season three finale on March 13. Disney+’s Daredevil: Born Again also maintained its No. 2 placement as the Marvel series, which continues the story from the Netflix Daredevil series, nears its season finale on April 8. Its demand average rose to 50.3 from 48.3 the previous week.
Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale, which will see its sixth and final season premiere on April 8, landed at the No. 5 spot with a demand average of 37.4. It was followed by Netflix’s Adolescence, which saw its demand drop slightly to 32.9 from 33.5 the week before.
On the overall TV originals chart, NBC’s Saturday Night Live regained its No. 1 spot, with a demand average of 64.1, following its three-week break. The March 29 episode of the comedy program was hosted by Anora‘s Mikey Madison with country singer Morgan Wallen as the musical guest. Parrot Analytics calculates its Top 10 lists using Demand Expressions, which are shown by using a metric that demonstrates how much more in-demand the top series are than the average TV show (linear, pay TV, SVOD and AVOD) in Canada. For example, a difference of 1x represents the market average and 10x means a series is 10 times more in demand than the average TV show in this market. Demand is defined as the total audience demand being expressed for a title within a market. Audience demand reflects the desire, engagement and viewership, weighted by importance; thus, a stream or download is a higher expression of demand than a “like” or comment.
