Bravo orders second season of 19-2 reboot

Bell Media’s Bravo channel has renewed the cop drama 19-2 for a second season.

The order for another 10 episodes comes ahead of the rookie season finale Wednesday night.

The one-hour Montreal-made drama, starring Jared Keeso and Adrian Holmes, is based on two unwilling partners of the Montréal Police Department thrown together after the death of one officer’s partner.

19-2, from Sphère Média Plus and Echo Media, has averaged 190,000 viewers so far this season, making it a top three program on Bravo.

The series, an English-language adaption of the original Quebec series of the same name, is executive produced by Jocelyn Deschênes, Carolyn Newman and Luc Châtelain.
