London-based Beyond Distribution has unveiled its MIPTV slate, with several series on the way from Canadian producers.
Vancouver-based prodco Great Pacific Media will be represented with Airshow, an 8 x 60-minute series spotlighting the pilots and performers who risk their lives in air shows across North America.
Meanwhile, Toronto-headquartered Re:Source Media has two new series in Beyond’s MIPTV slate. The 13 x 30-minute series 3 Chefs, 1 City follows three culinary experts as they examine the goods in a different food-lover’s paradise each episode. The 10 x 30-minute series Asia Rising looks at the rising power of Asia in the years and decades ahead.
Elsewhere, the 13 x 30-minute series Manufactured from Toronto-based Castlewood Productions delves into the history behind assorted iconic products, ranging from the Stetson hat to Jack Daniels’ whiskey.
Other new series on Beyond Distribution’s MIPTV slate include the 6 x 30-minute docuseries Hillbilly Preppers – Atlanta from MorningStar Entertainment; the 2 x 60-minute Anh Does Scandinavia & Iceland from the recently-announced joint venture between Australia’s Seven Network and Beyond Productions, 7Productions, and featuring comedian Anh Do; and the hour-long, one-off Myth or Science: The Quest for Perfection from Infield Fly Productions.
