Rachel Crawford is to guest star on Continuum as the Showcase and Syfy time-travelling drama starts production on a third season in Vancouver.

The Reunion Pictures series will see Crawford (Alphas,The Firm) in a multi-episode arc.

Returning cast includes Kiera Cameron as lead Rachel Nichols, a cop from the year 2077 trapped in present-day Vancouver as she pursues ruthless criminals from the future.

Also returning: Erik Knudsen, Victor Webster, Stephen Lobo, Lexa Doig, Luvia Petersen and Terry Chen.

The third cycle of Continuum is set to debut on Showcase in March 2014.

Continuum is created and showrun by Simon Barry, while Patrick Williams  is executive producer and director.

Reunion Pictures partners Tom Rowe, Lisa Richardson and Matthew O’Connnor are also executive producers.

Endemol is handling international distribution.
