Breakthrough Entertainment has licensed The Resurrection of Tony Gitone and Please Kill Mr. Know It All to Astral’s The Movie Network.

The films will premiere on TMN later this year after theatrical runs.

The Resurrection of Tony Gitone stars Fabrizio Filippo as the lead character, who returns to his hometown after years of struggling in Hollywood. The film also stars Paula Rivera, Nick Mancuso, Tony Nappo and John Cassini.

Black Mariah and Toronto-based New Real Films produce, and Breakthrough’s Ira Levy, Peter Williamson and Marina Cordoni are exec producers. The film is written by Jerry Ciccoritti, Jennifer Dyell and Svet Rouskov, with Ciccoritti directing.

Please Kill Mr. Know It All stars Lara Jean Chorostecki (Anitiviral, NBC’s upcoming Hannibal) as a would-be novelist who takes on a ghostwriting gig giving advice, only to find herself as the target of a mob hit after a mob boss’s girlfriend takes her advice. Colin Mochrie and Tom Wilson also star.

Written by Sandra Feldman and co-directed by Feldman and Colin Carter, Please Kill Mr. Know It All is produced by Road Child Films.
