Tricon picks up four for distribution

Tricon Films and Television has picked up four new titles for distribution at MIPCOM.

On the doc front, Tricon has added Henge Productions’ Where’s My Goat?, which will air on the CBC Documentary Channel on September 28; as well as the prodco’s Cranky, an hour-long special about three teams preparing for the Great Fogo Island Punt Race in the North Atlantic. Cranky will also air on the Ceeb.

From LA-based Actual Reality Pictures, Hick Town (6 x 30) is an observational doc series about the unlikely mayor of Denver, Colorado, John Hickenlooper, examining his unique approach to governing one of America’s largest cities.

Tricon also picked up Magee TV’s The Smart Woman Survival Guide, a 39 x 30 Sex in the City-esque comedy series.
