EnterCor expands international reach

Vancouver: Though it has yet-to-produce-anything, children’s programming company EnterCor Entertainment of Vancouver has signed another coproduction deal to expand its international reach.

The agreement with New York-based MSH Entertainment Corporation – described as a producer of non-violent, value-driven films and tv programming – introduces EnterCor to substantial distribution and merchandising partnerships. msh has deals with Peter Pan Industries – said to be one of the world’s largest independent distributors of children’s and family-oriented home videos – and Abrams-Gentile Entertainment, a major merchandiser of toys and other tv-oriented product.

EnterCor, which is in development with a show called Balltown, recently announced an alliance with Johannesburg-based media services company Sasani.

In the most recent deal, EnterCor will offer msh the financial benefits of shooting motion picture productions and television series in Canada along with ventures involving Sasani.

Says EnterCor vp licensing and merchandise Lorraine Johnson: ‘In the extremely competitive market of children’s animated projects, building a strong ancillary market is vital to the long-term success of the property.’
