Hearing notice

Beginning Oct. 11, the crtc will hold a public hearing on violence in television programming and will allow the public to comment on the issue. The hearing will also act as a forum for alternative suggestions to address tv violence.

Tee-Comm reports increases

For the year ended Dec. 31, 1994, global satellite communications company Tee-Comm Electronics of Milton, Ont., reports revenues of $69.3 million, up 54% from $44.9 million in 1993, and net earnings of $1,568,000 compared with $271,000 the previous year.

T-M bounces back

Tele-Metropole reports a significant turnaround for its first quarter in 1995 with earnings of $4.7 million compared to losses of $200,000 last year. Revenues for the quarter hit $91 million, up over $86.4 million in 1994.
