Veteran TV exec Christine Diakos has rejoined Big Coat Media to lead its push into scripted.

Diakos first joined Big Coat in 2016  as the company’s head of production, overseeing production on Big Coat’s hit TV series Love It or List It and its spin-off Love It or List It Vancouver. A year later, she left the company to become SVP of content at Toronto-headquartered Peacock Alley Entertainment. While at the prodco, she worked on season two of A User’s Guide to Cheating Death and a soon-to-be announced North American adaptation of an international series.

In her new role as Big Coat’s SVP of development and production for scripted and factual, she will be responsible for expanding the company’s scripted content and growing the Big Coat’s factual division.

Diakos has more than 20 years of TV experience. Her previous titles include serving as an exec in charge production for HGTV, Slice & Food, a senior producer at Bristow Global Media and as a director on properties like Prince$$ and Til Debt Do U$ Part.
