Goldhar, who has been an agent at the company for 18 years, will continue to manage her roster of clients (which includes Jason Priestley, Tatiana Maslany, Donald Sutherland, Zoie Palmer and Anthony Lemke), as well as overseeing the everyday business activities of the company. The elder Goldhar, who founded the agency over 46 years ago, will hand over his client roster to son Ryan and take on the new title of CEO of the organization’s administrative structure.

Ryan Goldhar’s client list includes Kate Vernon, Tara Spencer-Nairn and Torri Higginson. He has previously served as executive producer on features Sex After Kids and How to Plan An Orgy In a Small Town.

Elsewhere in the company, Tyman Stewart has been upped to president of The Character’s Vancouver office, replacing the retiring Leonard Bonnell.

The Characters has offices in Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary and represents Canadians in the film and TV industries throughout North America.
