Shaw Media is shifting Rookie Blue into a new timeslot for the remainder of its sixth-season run.
The series currently airs on Thursdays at 9 p.m. on Global. Starting June 24, it will shift to Wednesdays at 9 p.m. following Big Brother, with Under The Dome taking over the Thursday 9 p.m. spot.
According to Shaw Media, the procedural is attracting a better-than-average audience this season, averaging 1.5 million viewers over its first three weeks and representing a 5% lift over its season five finale. The ratings make it the top Canadian drama of 2015 to date with the A18-49 and A25-54 demos, Shaw reports. (All data 2+, Numeris via Shaw Media.)
Season six of Rookie Blue bowed on Global on May 21, with ABC set to premiere the latest season on Thursday, June 25.
The company has yet to reveal whether or not Rookie Blue will be renewed for a seventh season.
Rookie Blue is produced by ICF Films and Entertainment One.
