9 Story lands slew of Eastern Europe deals

The Toronto-based producer and distributor has inked deals in several Eastern European territories for a number of series, including Wild Kratts and Nerds and Monsters (pictured).

Toronto-based producer and distributor 9 Story Media Group has inked deals with broadcasters across Eastern Europe for a number of its kids and family series, including Wild Kratts, Peg + Cat and Get Ace.

In Poland, Telewizja Polska has picked up the first season of preschool series Peg + Cat (80 x 12 mintues) with Disney XD Poland acquiring season one of Nerds and Monsters (40 x 11 minutes). Preschool channel Minimini+, which also operates in Poland, relicensed season one and acquired season two of Guess How Much I Love You (26 x 11 minutes), and also picked up season two of Peg + Cat (50 x 11 minutes). Teletoon+, a counterpart to Minimini+, acquired Get Ace (52 x 11 minutes) and the animated MOW Emma’s Wings.

Minimax, which operates in multiple territories, licensed seasons three and four of Wild Kratts (52 x 22 minutes) and Jerry and the Raiders (26 x 11 minutes). Czech Republic’s Ceska Televize acquired over 110 half-hours of programming from 9 Story, including the first two seasons of Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosaurs (104 x 11 minutes), three seasons of Erky Perky (78 x 11 minutes) and the first season of Joe and Jack (39 x 7 minutes).
