Muriel Solomon, head of marketing at Shaw Media’s specialty channels, has left the broadcaster.
Shaw Media gave no reason for her departure, which came on Sept. 5.
Solomon leaving the broadcaster follows Jamie Schouela last year departing Shaw Media as VP of marketing to later resurface as EVP of marketing and communications at Blue Ant Media.
Under Solomon’s watch, Shaw Media has performed well ratings-wise in the female 25-to-54 demo with channels like HGTV Canada, Food Network Canada and Slice.
