Cary Elwes, Kristin Bauer van Straten board Teen Lust

Cary Elwes, Kristin Bauer van Straten and Jesse Carere have boarded Teen Lust, the theatrical comedy set to shoot in Vancouver from mid-August.

The indie from director Blaine Thurier (A Gun To The Head) about an awkward high school student who must lose his virginity before a local religious cult sacrifices him is also to star Daryl Sabara and Canadian actor Annie Clark.

The film, being sold internationally by Jeff Sackman’s TAJJ Media, has already been sold in select English-speaking territories, including North America and the U.K., to Entertainment One.

Vancouver-based Thurier co-wrote Teen Lust with Jason Stone (This Is The End).

The indie, now in pre-production, is produced by Vancouver-based Kyle Mann and his Independent Edge production shingle.

Carere, Sabara and Elwes are represented by APA.

Clark is represented by Norbert Abrams.

Bauer and Elwes are managed by Kritzer Levine Wilkins Griffin Nilon Entertainment, while Carere is managed by Artists Representation Company, and Sabara by Untitled Entertainment.
