Those headlines last June about Ann Rohmer leaving the anchor desk at CP24 Breakfast after 31 years in broadcasting… not so fast.

The long-time TV anchor, best known for her 25 years at Citytv, is back behind the microphone at CP24, at least part-time, CTV confirmed Wednesday.

Rohmer’s continuing anchor duties haven’t been made official, but the network indicated she’ll be on air at CP24 a few days a week.

Her return to primetime follows former Citytv colleague Anne Mroczkowski also bouncing back to become co-anchor of Global TV’s 6 o’clock news.
