The cat’s out of the bag

I might be fantasizing, but it seems to me that I’ve heard Canadians use the word ‘audience’ more often in the past three weeks than in the past 30 years. And not just with regards to TV ratings or eyeballs on mobile screens (most notably at the CFTPA confab last month), but in terms of bums-in-seats watching Canadian feature films as a part of the almighty distribution food chain that now runs the gamut from IMAX to BlackBerry in size and scope. It’s refreshing.
