LITERARY ASSISTANT

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This entry level position in the literary department requires a dynamic and motivated individual to support agents, associates, fellow assistants, and clients. The literary assistant will be responsible for coordinating communication and schedules, setting appointments, tracking industry data, screening submissions, reviewing materials, assisting with special projects, and performing basic administrative duties. A key responsibility of this role is managing a high volume of email and scheduling, necessitating the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have general knowledge about domestic and service production in Canada.

This position requires the successful candidate to work from our office location in Toronto.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Knowledge of the film and television industry
- A passion for reading
- Previous agency or assistant experience is a benefit

KEY CREATIVES ASSISTANT

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is an entry level position in the Key Creatives department. The Key Creatives assistant will play a primary role in the day-to-day administration and operation of the department. This individual will work closely with agents, associates, fellow assistants, and clients to coordinate communications and schedules, send appointments, track industry data, screen submissions, review material, help implement special projects, as well as basic administrative duties. The ideal candidate must excel working in a fast-paced environment and have general knowledge about domestic and service production in Canada.

Work location: This is a hybrid position, with two days per week required at the Toronto office location.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Experience with Vimeo and/or basic video editing a benefit
- Knowledge of the film and television industry
- Previous agency or assistant experience is a benefit
