Entertainment One has bolstered its development slate for alternative programming.
The indie producer has inked a first look deal with Los Angeles-based reality TV producer Creature Films, which is led by Mark Ford and Kevin Lopez.
Under the deal, Ford and Lopez will develop and produce unscripted programming with eOne.
Ford and Lopez founded Creature Films in 2004, and have produced reality TV programming for MTV, VH1, Bravo, Oxygen, TV Land, History Channel and TLC.
Their TV credits include MTV’s Laguna Beach and Taking the Stage, VH1’s Behind the Music and Bravo’s Kandi Factory, and music documentaries that include NWA: The World’s Most Dangerous Group, Let’s Spend the Night Together and Uprising: Hip Hop and the LA Riots.
eOne Television struck earlier first look deals in alternative programming with Kevin Healey (Scare Tactics) and Riaz Patel (How Do I Look?).
eOne Television’s slate of unscripted series includes BET’s Nellyville and It’s A Mann’s World, Ball Up: Search for the Next for Fox Sports Net and Mary Mary for WE tv.
